New Goals

1. Continue to be productive during Writing for Art & Design Professionals. See above.

2. Spend absolutely as little time as possible on one of my projects. Pretty much exactly what my teacher told me. Otherwise, I will end up killing myself with the amount of work I do. It's bad when you're zoomed in so far on a timeline that you can only view 4 frames at a time. This is gonna be hard.

3. Write at least half of my art history paper over the weekend. I've yet to read any of the books or journals or other sources I've accumulated. It was due a week from today. Thank God for the extension.

4. Animate some clocks tonight.

5. Clean out the installation space.

6. Motion masking marathon tonight! The goal for today is a 2 second clip of a dancer, and one interview for my documentary.

7. Try not to have a heart attack before my next unbirthday.

Ps. I've been brainstorming design ideas for making buttons (the little circular pins) for another project. And I have some really good ideas. Anyone wanna buy me my own button maker?

If...

I won $1 Million, I would

1) Pay off my student loans and save a set amount to pay for the rest of my education/room & board and a little bit of money for after school.
2) Set up savings accounts for each of my siblings so they would have a bit of a start towards their tuition. But I wouldn't pay for everything. They'll appreciate it more working for it.
3) Save a little more.
4) Buy a new lens for my camera.
5) Buy Adobe CS5 Production Premium (when it comes out in a week or so).
6) Buy a nicer tripod.
7) Buy a copy stand.
8) Buy either iStopMotion Pro or Dragon Stop Motion.
9) Buy a button maker.
10) Buy Fantastic Mr. Fox on DVD, as well as a bunch of Disney Platinum Editions.
12) Save some money for future plane tickets.
13) Give the rest to my parents. I don't really need anything else.

I didn't have to worry about deadlines, I would

1) Print off a whole bunch of Disney coloring pages right now.
2) Draw a bunch of coloring books for Mia.
3) Embroider.
4) Do a hand-drawn rotoscope.
5) Lie in the grass.
6) Visit my family.
7) Sew something.
8) Crochet a bunch of headbands.
9) Go downtown for a day. Probably to the library for a while.
10) Take a nap.
11) Eat regularly.
12) Make pixilations all day long.

BUT,
I don't have a million bucks. And I do have deadlines that keep getting closer and closer. So it's back to After Effects. I'm almost done with a big chunk of my (main) animation! I will feel much better at that point. And my website's looking pretty spiffy.

I hope someone out there made up for my lack of relaxing today. I made up for your praying. Fair trade?

Anyway, I had high hopes of accomplishing a large amount of my To Do list today. Unfortunately, not even God (or the church bells across the street) could wake me in time for 8:30am mass. So I felt entirely off having to go to the 11am. It was rather odd going to Easter Sunday mass by myself. I don't really recommend it. So afterwards, I picked up some groceries, and had some delicious French toast sticks for my Easter supper. Good life choice.

I spent pretty much all day working on my website. It's looking pretty good, I think! I really wanna get it up and running soon! Maybe I'll share some screencaps tomorrow?

Hopefully tomorrow I'll feel more accomplished. So much to do!

By the way, on my Tumblr, I used to have Bunny Sunday every week. Mostly because bunnies are completely wonderful and dear to my heart. So I told Mia that today was a very special Bunny Sunday! So I decided to bring it back.

Don't worry, I did get my fair share of chocolate bunnies and Robin Egg candies! I received a lovely Easter package from my family (complete with one of those cards with sound) and another from my aunt, uncle, and cousin (which even had headbands)!

Oh, and I'm not gonna lie, I wouldn't mind having this ring.
